About Kim

Kim Harvey Brannan has spent much of her life exploring grace and faith—and helping others do the same. For nearly four decades she has created Bible studies and served as an engaging teacher at her church in Tampa, Florida, where her thoughtful, original approach invites people to mine Scripture for its living truth. A lifelong reader and writer, Kim retired from a successful career in legal marketing and now travels widely, delighting in the beauty and handiwork of God. Those journeys fuel her teaching and writing as she shares practical insights, honest stories, and quiet encouragement with readers and small groups.

Her debut, Quiet Conversations, guides readers to recognize the many ways God speaks in everyday life. With candid, real-world stories, Kim points toward hope and peace amid challenges, disappointments, and detours. Most recently, she’s ventured into children’s literature with Bird Weddings, a fun new picture book that celebrates wonder, joy, and the small surprises that make the world feel bright.

Born and raised in Tampa—still within walking distance of the bay—Kim believes we can all know deep joy and peace when we live grounded in God’s purpose and passion. Her greatest joy is planting seeds of faith that help people listen for God’s voice and see His presence in the ordinary.
